1. Introduction

TutorBook ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us through TutorBook.co.in ("the website"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information when you use our enquiry, registration, or contact forms:

• Name, phone number, and email address
• Student class, board, subject, and location details
• Tutor qualification, experience, and resume details (where submitted)
• Messages or notes you share with us

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to respond to enquiries, match students with suitable tutors, verify tutor applications, and communicate updates related to our services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Sharing

Your information may be shared internally with our counsellors and, where relevant, with tutors being matched to your enquiry. We do not share your data with unrelated third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, or loss.

6. Cookies

We use the following categories of cookies:

• Essential cookies — required for core site functionality, such as keeping you signed in to Career Counselling.
• Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.

You can control cookie preferences at any time through your browser settings.

7. Data Retention

We retain enquiry, registration, and contact form data for as long as needed to respond to your request and provide our services — typically up to 24 months from your last interaction with us, unless a longer period is required by law. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see "Your Rights" below).
